Accidentally drawn on what turned out to be National Watermelon Day! Neon red and magenta colored pencils made the color in this one pop.

“Two Slices of Watermelon” is Number 155 in the Daily Drawing Series. Original drawn on August 3, 2016.

Expertly reproduced as a gallery-quality giclée art print on Canson museum grade 100% cotton rag paper. The extra smooth surface and white tone of the paper is achieved by introducing natural brightening minerals in the paper-making process — no Optical Brightening Agents (OBAs).

Each print is hand-numbered and signed by the artist.

Available in two sizes — 5×5″ and 10×10″.

I ordered this print as a gift for my 11-year old daughter who LOVES watermelon. She’d eat a whole watermelon in one sitting if I’d let her, so I just knew I had to get this one for her! I knew the print would be stunning based on what I saw online, but I was truly blown away by how vibrant the colors were in person. And the attention to detail of the drawing is amazing – Maria is a truly exceptional artist. Thank you, Maria, for sharing your talent with us!
